Start with these eligibility questions
- School eligibility: is your student eligible to enroll in a public elementary or secondary school?
- Household income: is your household’s prior-year income no more than 300% of your area’s median gross income, adjusted for family size? This is an area-based measure, not 300% of the federal poverty level or one nationwide dollar cutoff.
- State and scholarship organization: does your student live in a participating state served by a qualifying organization listed for that state?
The IRS advance-election list dated September 14, 2026 includes Texas, Louisiana, and Missouri. State participation alone does not guarantee an award. The scholarship organization verifies eligibility, accepts applications, and determines awards from available funds.
What a scholarship may cover
Qualified K–12 expenses can include school tuition, academic tutoring, special-education services, books, supplies, and qualifying extended-day programs. Confirm your student’s exact expense and provider with the scholarship organization before purchasing.
Donor credit limits do not set your student’s scholarship amount. Awards depend on qualified expenses, the organization’s rules, and available funding. A family does not need to owe federal income tax to benefit from a qualifying scholarship.
Landmark’s planned partner: ACE
Landmark plans to partner with ACE. Confirmed family application dates, scholarship availability, and Landmark-specific approval details are not available yet. Ask us about your student’s needs now; we will share the confirmed process when it is ready.
This is information for planning, not an open scholarship application or a funding commitment. Do not send tax returns, Social Security numbers, or other financial documents through Landmark’s general inquiry form. Any eligibility documents should go through the scholarship organization’s confirmed secure process.
