TEFA + Landmark: common questions
Does Landmark tuition change if we use TEFA? +
No. Landmark's K–8 tuition is $8,274/year whether you pay out of pocket or through TEFA. There is no enrollment fee and no separate registration cost.
What can I spend the $2,200 wallet remainder on? +
The TEFA program allows wallet funds to be used for a wide range of approved educational expenses: tutoring, special education services, therapies, curriculum materials, educational technology, and more. The full approved expense list is maintained by the Texas Comptroller at educationfreedom.texas.gov/families.
Is Landmark approved for TEFA homeschool awards? +
Landmark is listed as a private school (TEFA private school award: $10,474). The homeschool TEFA award ($2,000) is a separate category for families who enroll as homeschoolers rather than as private school students.
Is TEFA available for Landmark's 9–12 program? +
Not at this time. TEFA information on this page applies only to Landmark's K–8 program. We will update this page if and when the status of our 9–12 program changes.
We already applied for TEFA — can we still enroll at Landmark? +
Yes. Once your TEFA application is approved and you have your Odyssey wallet, you select your school by July 15. You can enroll at Landmark at the same time or even after completing your TEFA school selection. Email us at hello@landmarkacademics.org and we'll walk you through both steps together.
