Two ways to use your TEFA award at Landmark.
Full-time private school (K–12) with tuition covered in full. Or homeschool marketplace purchases — ASU dual credit, MilestoneMap, and single courses bought with your Odyssey wallet.

Just funded? You’re on a rolling school-selection window — talk to Torrie before you pick a listing in Odyssey.
25% of award deposited to every TEFA family’s wallet
50% of award for second semester
The main Jul 15 private-school enrollment deadline for 2026–27 has passed. Marketplace purchases (curriculum, dual credit, MilestoneMap) can be made any time your wallet has funds.
On the waitlist or didn’t apply for TEFA this year?
Fill out the 2027–2028 TEFA Interest Form. Responses are shared with the Texas legislature to gauge demand and shape TEFA funding for the next cycle. Your voice literally helps decide how many families get funded next year.
Families already in the 2026–27 program do not need to fill this out. This is for families who are on the waitlist, missed the 2026 deadline, or are considering TEFA for the first time.

Four priority groups set by the state. Same $10,474 award across all tiers — the difference is where you sit in the application queue.

Example: family of 4 up to ~$160,750/yr

Children in households with total annual income at or below 200% of Federal Poverty Level. No disability requirement.
Example: family of 4 up to ~$64,300/yr
Household income 200–500% FPL

Common questions
Does Landmark tuition change if we use TEFA?
No. Tuition is $8,274/year for K–8 and $8,450/year for 9–12, whether paying out of pocket or through TEFA. No enrollment fee. No separate registration cost.
What can I spend the wallet remainder on?
TEFA-approved educational expenses: tutoring, special education services, therapies, curriculum, educational technology, and more. The full approved list is on the Texas Comptroller site.
Can TEFA homeschool families buy from Landmark?
Yes. Landmark is an approved vendor in the Odyssey marketplace where TEFA homeschool families can purchase ASU Universal Learner dual-credit courses ($460 through TEFA, fees and taxes included), single Landmark high-school courses, MilestoneMap subscriptions, and records and transcript services using TEFA wallet funds. See the homeschool marketplace section above for details.
What’s the difference between the TEFA private-school award and TEFA homeschool award?
The private-school award covers tuition at an approved private school (like Landmark Academy) with wallet remainder for approved extras. The homeschool award is for families who direct their student’s education at home and use the wallet to purchase approved courses, curriculum, tutoring, and services from approved vendors on the Odyssey marketplace. Both tracks can use Landmark — one for full-time enrollment, the other for à la carte marketplace purchases.
We already applied for TEFA — can we still enroll at Landmark?
Yes. Once your Odyssey wallet is available, select your Landmark listing by July 15. You can enroll at Landmark at the same time or after completing TEFA school selection. Send Torrie a note for help.
