Landmark Living History Institute.
ZIP code, learning style, and family background should not determine the quality of a child’s education.
Why Landmark exists
Founded by a homeschool parent and former Fortune 50 executive with deep roots in North Texas and Mid Missouri. Landmark grew out of a recurring gap: families needed more than enrichment or links to curriculum — they needed real academic support, clarity, and 1:1 guidance.
Incorporated as a Missouri nonprofit. Received IRS 501(c)(3) recognition in February 2026. The 2026–2027 academic year marks Landmark Academy’s formal launch as a structured, credentialed K–12 school.
Three core values
Academic advantage
Give every kid one — regardless of where they started.
Financial fairness
Tuition designed around what families actually have, including TEFA.
Radical transparency
Founder salary $0. All startup costs self-funded. Every dollar accounted for.
Meet the founder
Torrie Levins
Founder & Executive Director
Hi, I’m Torrie. I spent 20+ years at Capital One in HR, Operations, People Analytics, and as a Chief of Staff. That means I know what employers actually look for — and how to translate it into real-world skills students can build now.
I’ve been hands-on homeschooling for over a decade and spent several years in a PreK–12 co-op with over 40 families. I also volunteered on the national team that launched HS4CC Academy in November 2025.
Landmark is built around what actually works for families navigating accredited K–12 with real-world readiness and college credit on the table. Every enrollment begins with a one-on-one conversation with me. Not a form review. Not a waitlist.
Credentials: Cornell-educated · 20+ yrs Fortune 50 (HR, Operations, People Analytics, Chief of Staff) · PreK–12 co-op participant · Background-checked.
